1. Myeloablative Autologous Stem-Cell Transplantation for Severe Scleroderma (New England Journal of Medicine)
強皮症という難しい病気を、免疫細胞全部潰したあげく本人のhematopoietic stem cells（日本語でなんていうのかしら？）を補充して治した。

強皮症って免疫の病気だったんだ！


2. Single-cell transcriptomics of the mouse kidney reveals potential cellular targets of kidney disease (Science)
マウス腎臓を一つ一つばらばらの細胞にしたあげく、一つずつの細胞の遺伝子発現を測定した論文。Single-cell RNA sequencingという技術を使っている。腎臓は驚くほど複雑な構造なので、新しい技術が威力を発揮している論文。読むのが面倒なかたはMapping kidney cellular complexityをどうぞ。

ほー、Single-cell RNA sequencingってこういう使い方すればいいんだ！


3. Kidney-infiltrating T cells in murine lupus nephritis are metabolically and functionally exhausted (The Journal of Clinical Investigation)
いわく、全身性エリテマトーデスの腎臓にいるT細胞はダメージを与えているのではなく、疲れきった細胞である。むしろ保護しているほうかもしれない。
